Ugh I think I have the flu. I have been sick for about a week now but last night it got a million times worse. Thank you preschool germs! November birchbox

This is the birchbox I received this month. The box had french eye makeup remover, a firecracker chocolate, champagne and shimmer sugar polish (loved this), jasmine protein mist for hair, a cute bracelet and Zoya nail polish. My favorite item is the nail polish. It's such a beautiful shimmery blue color. I normally would not pick blue for my nails but it looks so pretty.

Honestly I don't know if what I got is really worth $10. Yes it's fun to try new things but they are samples and they don't last long at all. But if you find something you really love like I did last month with the Quidad hair products then maybe it is worth the $10.

Chrome Pine Cone Garland

My obsession with chrome spray paint continues. I have all of these beautiful pine cones in my yard and as I have never really had an abundance of pine cones before I wanted to do something with them. So I got out the chrome and started spraying. They came out gorgeous! My sad picture taking skills don't capture the bling of these babies well enough. I also chromed a random stick I found but you can hardly tell in the pictures. Trust me though it looks good!

 I decided to make a pinecone garland for my fireplace. Cheap and easy. Those pine cones sure are pokey though. I put it all together and was a little disappointed that it doesn't POP out as much as I wanted. I blame the fake wood. I am positive this would look much better with any other color background. And also minus the "gold" fireplace screen.

Maybe the garland needs more pine cones? Oh well at least I have some pretty pine cones.
