My house

Some "odd" things I have noticed about my new pad. First of all there is some sweet wallpaper hidden in the bathroom. Early 70's type stuff. Orange flowers, paisley. Who would cover that up?

And then we have some groovy green shag carpet! It is discreetly hidden in a cabinet. Still looks pretty good!

My feathered friends out for a stroll. Headed to the road. Turkeys are not smart animals.
Almost time to gorge on CANDY!!!

My little store

Here's a link to my humble store on artfire. I just put it up so it's not exactly perfected yet.

Turkeys and other horrors

We got some new neighbors up in these here parts. Got us a whole turkey family. The other day they were in the cow field and some rude neighbor dogs were trying to eat them. These giant turkeys flew all over the place. One landed in our tree and another on our roof. They are the worst, most ungraceful flying things ever. One landed on a tall awning and I swear I didn't think it could figure out how to get down. They are real dumb. They do gobble but they also make this awful sound. Sounds like they are dying! Oh and I was just informed that there are wild pigs in the woods with razor sharp tusks. Awesome! Also some kind of half rat half beaver thing that can swim and is as big as a dog is around. Sounds like a nightmare.

No pictures of the turkeys yet or rat beast but check out my sweet new ride!

Lovely Sunday

Today we got all dressed up to go to a small baptist church in the country. Typical church service. Rick fell asleep and lots of white hairs. After church we had a great lunch made from my mother in law and some fabulous pecan pie. Now we are watching Swamp Men and are frightened by the people and creatures in our neck of the woods. Did you know there is a huge fish with an alligator head? It's called an Alligator Gar. It looks freaky.

Evan and Posideon loving the new surroundings. They have become best friends. Evan chases him with his big red truck all over the yard until one of them tires out. There's lots of room to roam and lots of places to get into trouble.

The "fun" thing to do around here is riding atv's or in our case a modified golf cart. Here we are riding through the field. Me screaming and getting whacked by branches. FUN! I miss my family terribly but I so far really like living out here.
